The Joan Margarit Library in Sant Just Desvern closed the 2025 fiscal year with a very positive balance, recording over 41,000 visits and exceeding 51,000 loans to the community.

The 2025 data reaffirms the Joan Margarit Library as a fundamental cultural axis in Sant Just Desvern. During this period, exactly 41,371 in-person visits were counted and 51,288 loans were formalized, demonstrating intensive use of its services by the local population.

This dynamism is the result of the constant work of the library team, which promotes creative initiatives adapted to the interests and needs of the local population.

Regarding participation, the center maintained a varied cultural program with a total of 118 activities, which attracted 2,395 participants. Reading clubs and proposals aimed at children and families were particularly prominent in the offerings.
Currently, the library has 6,739 registered users, 467 of whom signed up during 2025. Furthermore, its educational role was reinforced with 49 school visits involving 840 students, alongside the strengthening of its digital presence.
