The industrial overhaul includes the adaptation of 160.000 square meters and the installation of 1,000 new robots. A key feature of the upgraded site is a 600-meter automated bridge connecting the battery assembly plant to the main production line, ensuring a seamless manufacturing process for the new electric urban family.

While Martorell will produce the CUPRA Raval and the Volkswagen ID. Polo, other models like the Škoda Epiq will be manufactured in Navarra. The project involves over 90 suppliers across Spain, reinforcing the country's position within the European electric vehicle ecosystem.
