Maids & Co., an agency specializing in domestic staff selection, has launched its new website, maidsespana.es, and is expanding its service to major cities and regions in Spain and 14 European countries, including the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Portugal, Italy, Germany, and Monaco.
With over 17 years of activity, the company is transferring the method it developed in Madrid to new markets: personal interviews with each candidate, verification of references directly with previous employers, and checking documentation before presenting them to the family. The service covers the selection of live-in staff, live-out staff, nannies, housekeepers, private chefs, chauffeurs, and service couples.
Families moving cities, same selection criteria
The expansion responds to a growing demand from families relocating for work, expatriates arriving in Spain, and households with second homes, who want to maintain the same selection standard when settling in another city or country.
The agency has already served families from over 20 nationalities and has a team that works in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, allowing them to have the selection ready even before the family arrives at their destination.

A model focused on selection
Maids & Co. is exclusively dedicated to finding and evaluating candidates. Hiring, social security registration, and payroll are the responsibility of the employing family or their agency, allowing the company to focus its work on the part of the process that concerns families the most: finding the right person.
The model is supported by concrete commitments: the first verified profiles arrive in under three hours, the family can conduct a two-day trial at home before paying the fee, and there is no cost during the search. In Madrid, Barcelona, and Marbella, the agency also offers a free replacement during the first six months, and in any location, it refunds 50% of the fee if the family is not satisfied within the first month. Families who have worked with the agency give it an average rating of 4.8 out of 5 on Google, with 94 published reviews.
A website designed for the process
The new platform includes a Client Portal from which families can track their offers in real-time, rate proposed candidates, speak directly with them before interviewing them, and coordinate interviews, either in person or via video call. Notifications for each step are sent via WhatsApp. Professionals, on the other hand, register and access offers through their own domestic employment portal.
