The Minister of the Presidency, Albert Dalmau, called this Saturday from the Fira de la Candelera in Molins de Rei for ERC and the Comuns to resume budget talks, assuring that new accounts are essential to guarantee key services such as trains and housing.

After visiting the event in the Baix Llobregat municipality, Dalmau insisted on the need to avoid institutional blockage. He offered an “extended hand” to the parliamentary groups, stating that the executive's goal is for “the money to be placed where Catalunya needs it” after “complex weeks.”

"A lesson we learn from these days is that the country needs budgets to have trains, housing, new hospitals, or new schools."

Regarding the resumption of the Rodalies service, expected from Monday, the minister reiterated that the absolute priority is user safety. He stressed that “Catalans have the right to recover their mobility, but above all, there is the right to their safety.”
Dalmau explained that the resumption of train services will only occur “where inspections have concluded” and safety can be guaranteed. On lines where this is not yet possible, the alternative bus service will be maintained while Adif and Renfe continue with the necessary maintenance work.
