The initiative, developed in collaboration with the company Esferic, uses banners and corner signs to highlight the negative effects of dog urine and feces in public spaces. The focus is on the damage caused by dog urine to benches, lampposts, and other street elements, as well as the consequences of not picking up dog waste.
In addition to deteriorating public spaces, dog waste can hinder the mobility of people with disabilities and pose a risk to children who may come into contact with it while playing.
Through this action, the council seeks to promote civic attitudes and emphasize that caring for public spaces is a shared responsibility among all residents.
