The city councils of El Vendrell, Calafell, Cubelles, Cunit, and L’Arboç jointly presented the 2026 Carnival program on Tuesday, seeking to establish the event as a key festive and economic regional benchmark.

The joint presentation of the Penedès Marítim Carnival 2026 program was held this Tuesday at the El Vendrell City Council, bringing together representatives from the five participating municipalities. This initiative combines the carnival events of Calafell, Cubelles, Cunit, L’Arboç, and El Vendrell, promising intense days of revelry, light, and color.
The event was attended by the Councilors for Festivals and Economic Promotion, including Mariona Figueras (El Vendrell), Lluïsa Llastra (Calafell), Montse Càmara (Cunit), Sònia Magrané (L’Arboç), and Renata Bedós (Cubelles).

The close collaboration between the different municipalities of Penedès Marítim has been fundamental in designing a Carnival that consolidates itself as a key event in the festive calendar of the territory.

The municipal representatives emphasized that pooling efforts is essential to build a major Carnival. Beyond the recreational aspect, they expect the high number of participants and visitors to serve, as in previous editions, as a significant economic boost for all participating municipalities.
