The Nens del Vendrell group kicks off its centenary celebrations this Saturday in El Vendrell with a massive event featuring one hundred simultaneous human towers at Jaume Carner avenue.

Under the slogan Cent anys. Cent pilars, more than fifty 'colles' will perform four-level human towers at 5:15 PM. The event takes place around the Quatre de Vuit Monument by Josep Cañas, celebrating both the group's 100th anniversary and the monument's 50th year.
The morning schedule includes a lecture by Kevin Prados titled Castells and Romanticism, linking the tradition to Beethoven and Verdaguer. Visitors can also join a guided tour of the Pau Casals route, exploring the childhood locations of the world-renowned cellist.
The day will conclude with a festival at the school area parking lot, featuring traditional games and live music by La Banda del Coche Rojo and DJ Ferry Lip, marking a milestone for Catalan culture.
