The Badalona International Magic Festival – XXVI Li-Chang Memorial will host five solidarity workshops at the Germans Trias Hospital for children and adolescents admitted for mental health disorders, starting on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.

The city of Badalona is once again established as the capital of illusionism with the celebration of its International Magic Festival, which will run until March 1. Under the artistic direction of local magician Enric Magoo, the festival combines major theater performances with activities extending to cultural centers and libraries.
This year, the festival places a special emphasis on solidarity action, with the Germans Trias Hospital (Can Ruti) serving as the host. This initiative will materialize in five magic workshops held throughout 2026 in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Hospitalization unit.
These workshops are aimed at children and young people between 8 and 18 years old. The goal, made possible by an agreement signed with the Associació Vides Màgiques and the Badalona City Council, is to contribute to the emotional well-being, creative stimulation, and improvement of the participants' hospital experience.
The first session is scheduled for Wednesday, February 11, and will be repeated in May, August, October, and December. Furthermore, the Tuesday before the workshops begin, the magician Adan Xou will offer a performance at 10:30h at the hospital, in collaboration with the Fundación Abracadabra de Magos Solidarios.
