This sixteenth edition, promoted by the Fundació Barcelona Olímpica, is consolidated as a key reflection space for sports leaders, public managers, and elite athletes. The focus will be on the sustainability of major events, public-private collaboration, the social and economic impact of sport, and the human dimension of performance.
The first day, Wednesday, January 14, will address innovation and the legacy of Olympism, including a presentation on the future of the Olympic movement. A highlight will be the analysis of the economic and social impact of the 37th America’s Cup sailing race, held in Barcelona, and federative management in the face of major competitions.
On Thursday, January 15, the program will focus on mind and performance, delving into the psychological factor in high-level sports. Discussions will cover emotional balance, stress management, and the psychological preparation of elite athletes before and after major international events.
