Barcelona City Council to present Ciutat de Barcelona Awards 2025 at Saló de Cent

The Barcelona City Council will hold the Ciutat de Barcelona Awards 2025 ceremony, recognizing culture, science, and education, this Wednesday, February 11, at the Saló de Cent.

The ceremony, celebrating the 76th edition of the prestigious awards, will be broadcast live by betevé starting at 6 PM. Journalist Clara Vera will be responsible for presenting the live transmission from the council headquarters.
Among this year's recipients, highlighted across various disciplines, are the musical group El Petit de Cal Eril, the architectural project for the Plaça de les Glòries Catalana, and the theatre company La Mula.
Also being recognized are filmmaker Jaume Claret Muxart, the Associació Balls a la Plaça del Rei, and the Escola Josep Maria de Segarra, reinforcing the awards' role in promoting local innovation and creativity.
As is tradition, the awards ceremony is part of the program for the Festes de Santa Eulàlia, the Catalan capital's winter festival, which fills the city with cultural activities.
