Among the highlighted events, the Sagrada Família Major Festival will be held from April 17 to 26, 2026, with a program that includes a proclamation, fire runs (correfocs), concerts, and the traditional descent of contraptions. Concurrently, the Barceloneta Spring Festivals will take place from April 9 to May 31, offering music, dance, theater, and workshops for all audiences.
Gastronomy lovers can enjoy The Champions Burguer, a gourmet burger festival with over 60 stalls, which will open its doors on April 9 in the parking lot of the Westfield La Maquinista shopping center. Access is free, allowing visitors to vote for their favorite burger until April 19.
In the cultural sphere, IDEAL in Montjuïc hosts a large immersive exhibition on Pompeii at the Palau Victòria Eugènia, featuring virtual reality and historical objects. Additionally, the Mercat de les Flors will offer the participatory dance and music show PAISATGES. Estudi #2 on the weekends of April 18 and 19, and 25 and 26, aimed at children aged 6 and above.
Other proposals include free access to Park Güell for Barcelona residents with the new green pass, the Science Festival 2026 at El Born Centre de Cultura i Memòria on April 18 and 19, and the Reggae per Xics concert at Monumental Kids on April 18 at La Monumental.
The Gabriel García Márquez Library will host the musical presentation of the children's book Ovidi Montllor i la guitarra que explica històries on April 25, led by Cesk Freixas. Visitors can also see the Barcelona model, as part of the city's world architecture capital status, and enjoy free shows from the Escena Barcelona cycle.
