Public transport users in the Barcelona area should be aware that several passes purchased under the 2025 fare will expire on April 30, 2026, particularly the 90-day tickets.

Most transport tickets acquired until January 14, 2026, under the 2025 fare had an expiration date of February 28, 2026. However, there is a significant exception for certain 90-day passes, which have a more extended usage period.
Specifically, the T-jove and the T-70/90 for single-parent and large families (FM/FN) can be used until April 30, 2026, provided they were purchased within the 2025 fare period.
These subsidized tickets are exclusively designed for individuals who can prove their status as a single-parent or large family. To purchase them, it is essential to present a valid DNI (identification document) and the official document certifying this condition.
These are personal and non-transferable tickets, meaning only the holder can use them. The sole exception is the T-70/90 FM/FN card, which can be used by multiple members of the same family. In all cases, it is mandatory to carry the DNI and the valid accreditation card while using public transport.
Given the approaching expiration dates, users are advised to check the validity of their tickets to avoid any inconvenience within Barcelona's public transport network.
