The CETT School of Hospitality and Tourism (UB) in Barcelona, founded in 1969, remains a key international center for professional training in tourism, hospitality, and gastronomy.

Founded over five decades ago by Gaspar Espuña, the school offers all levels of training, from vocational cycles to degree and postgraduate studies, aiming to prepare highly qualified professionals for a constantly evolving sector. It currently hosts 1,500 students.
The center, located in the Vall d’Hebron neighborhood, within the Horta-Guinardó district, has established itself as a bridge between academia and the business world. This focus was formalized in 2008 with the creation of the CETT-UB Business Council, the first university forum for interaction with tourism companies, chaired by the rector of the University of Barcelona.

CETT's philosophy is based on training good professionals in attitudes and aptitudes, who respond to the needs of the sector and the academic community.

The CETT training model is unique, as it is part of a group of proprietary companies dedicated to practical training: it includes a hotel, two restaurants, a travel agency, and two service companies. This structure allows students to apply knowledge in real environments, enhancing practical learning and job placement.
Since 2000, the center has had its own private, open, and creative foundation, which promotes its philosophy and ensures the total reinvestment of profits back into the project, including scholarships for students with the greatest needs.
