The neo-Nazi group Núcleo Nacional will hold a presentation event in Barcelona this Saturday afternoon, mobilizing the anti-fascist scene and forcing the Mossos d'Esquadra to prepare a special security operation.

The far-right group Núcleo Nacional (NN) has called its followers to an event at 6:00 PM this Saturday in Barcelona, keeping the exact location secret until 24 hours before the appointment. Through the social network X, they insist on their message of intent.

There is a third way that is ours, and we have come to conquer.

The event has put the anti-fascist, far-left, and pro-independence scene in the city on high alert. Several entities, including the Assemblea de Joves, Esquerra Unida de Catalunya, movements linked to the CUP (Endavant, Forja de Poble Lliure), the COS union, and Nacionalistes, have called for counter-protests to stop the far-right.
The Mossos d'Esquadra have confirmed they are preparing a special security deployment. The goal is to prevent clashes between the two factions, which, despite being ideologically opposed, often coincide in the use of violent methods in the streets.
Núcleo Nacional is known to the police for spreading racist propaganda and instrumentalizing the migration crisis. Its headquarters in Madrid is known as 'el Nido del Águila' (The Eagle's Nest), referencing Adolf Hitler's mountain retreat in the Bavarian Alps, and displays portraits of the dictator.
Last October, representatives of IU (part of the Sumar group) in the Congress requested the Government to initiate procedures to ask the Prosecutor's Office for the dissolution of the group. The group was already investigated by the Guardia Civil in April for disseminating a video that incited 'active defense' and combat against what they call an 'invasion,' with hate messages directed at Moroccans and Jews.
