The Department of Territory in Barcelona hosted the third emergency meeting this Saturday to assess the Rodalies situation, which remains halted since 1 pm at the request of the Catalan Government.

The meeting, which started after 6 pm, was attended physically by the Secretary of State for Transport, José Antonio Santano, who had previously participated remotely. This is the third follow-up meeting held on Saturday to address the railway crisis.
Representing the Generalitat de Catalunya, the delegation was led by the Minister of the Presidency, Albert Dalmau, and the Minister of Territory and Government Spokesperson, Sílvia Paneque. The service suspension has been maintained since noon at the request of the Catalan executive until the safety and operability of the system can be guaranteed.

The physical presence of José Antonio Santano in Barcelona signals a shift in the dynamic of the crisis meetings, which until now had been managed primarily remotely.

High-ranking officials from the main entities involved in infrastructure and service management also participated in the meeting, including representatives from Adif, Renfe, the Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan Police), and the Catalan Traffic Service (Trànsit).
