The Collective of Contrast Journalists has launched 'Tanta, tanta guerra', a podcast series available on 3Cat, analyzing the context of rearmament in Europe.

The series, supported by the ICIP, explores in five episodes the defense industry, landmines, border militarization, attacks on international law, and the media's role in conflict escalation or de-escalation. Through human stories and expert voices, 'Tanta, tanta guerra' questions the notion that increased military force is the only response to global challenges.
The project, funded by the ICIP through its grants for non-profit organizations, asks what other ways of building security and peace are possible. The series aims to reflect on the contradictions of the current rearmament model.

What other ways of building security and peace are possible?

The public presentation of the series will take place on Wednesday, October 14, at 6 PM at the Barcelona headquarters of the Col·legi de Periodistes de Catalunya (Rambla de Catalunya, 10, Principal). The event will feature a conversation on the arms race in Europe with Kristian Herbolzheimer, director of the ICIP; Adriana Ribas, coordinator of Amnistia Internacional Catalunya, and Pere Ortega, from the Centre Delàs d’Estudis per la Pau.
