Ràdio Capital will present its new audio fiction podcast, Aquella nit al Tiffany’s, on Thursday, April 9 at the Gabriel García Márquez Library in Barcelona, an event open to the public that will delve into the historical context of late Francoism.

This production revisits the real-life episode of the attempted attack on the Tiffany’s nightclub during the final years of the Franco dictatorship. The case, which inspired the book El pacifista que volia volar una discoteca, has served as the basis for this audio fiction.
The event, with free admission upon reservation, will offer an opportunity to explore a story that goes beyond a specific incident, portraying the political, social, and cultural tensions of the regime's final phase. Attendees will be able to enjoy an audio summary of the podcast, providing a taste of its atmosphere and narrative intensity.
Subsequently, a conversation will take place with creators and experts, including author Anna Murgadas, journalist Rosa de Diego, book author Joan Gasull, acting director Toni Sellas, and Ràdio Capital director and project producer, Miquel Curanta. The panel will address different perspectives for explaining the same historical event and the distinctions between written narrative and audio dramatization.
The series, already available on radiocapital.cat, will also be accessible soon on La Xarxa+ and RTVE Play. The presentation event will feature interventions by Núria de José, CEO of La Xarxa, and Ràdio 4 director, Sònia Urbano.
