The sixteenth edition of the Zirkòlika Circus Awards of Catalonia, held on December 18 during the Nit de Circ gala at Port Vell in Barcelona, honored four major shows from 2025.

The jury, composed of 37 professionals, selected as best shows the circus dance solo Carena, by the funambulist La Córcoles, and the cyr wheel, knives, and fakirism show Cuirassa oberta, by the trapeze artist Marilén Ribot.
Also recognized were the dreamlike Winter, which combines music, circus, and physical theater, created by the company My!Laika, and the gestural clown performance Forat, by the renowned artist Dudu Arnalot.

The gala denounced the existence of global conflicts and advocated for the artistic role of the circus and the need for a permanent exhibition space in Catalonia.

Other notable awards went to the acrobatic duo Cia. Bragacadavra for their balance act Caiguda lliure per a persones amb vertigen, the Russian cradle act Temps de vol by Duet Duot, the Nilak Itinerant Tent, and the historian and journalist Ramon Bech, for his work preserving circus memory.
The Nit de Circ gala, held at the Circ Històric Raluy tent at the Moll de la Fusta, was artistically directed by Martí Torras Mayneris and Piti Español. The awards returned after a year's pause due to lack of resources, having received 201 candidatures this edition.
