The new single state transport pass, costing 60 euros, can be purchased starting this Monday at stations like Sants, becoming valid for use on January 19.

The new ticket is valid for one month and allows unlimited travel on Rodalies (Commuter), Mid-Distance services, and state-owned interregional buses. The Avant Barcelona-Tortosa service is included, but AVE trains and the Avant Barcelona-Tarragona route are excluded from the offer.
The cost is 60 euros monthly, or 30 euros for those under 26 years old, who must register beforehand on the Ministry of Transport website. The first users are already purchasing the pass at Sants station, available both at self-service machines and ticket windows.

"It will be a significantly important economic benefit, I believe it will be an added incentive for many people to take it."

Daniel Gil · Member of the Dignified Trains Platform
Daniel Gil, a librarian who regularly travels from Tortosa to Barcelona, calculated that the pass will save him about 47 euros monthly, as he previously paid 107 euros. He trusts that the measure will incentivize train use due to its efficiency and sustainability.
Gil celebrated that the Avant Barcelona-Tortosa line is the only one in Catalonia with this benefit, but reiterated the entity's request to advance the Avant schedule to arrive at Sants before 8 AM, in addition to demanding more frequencies.
