Viewers of the TV3 daily soap opera, Com si fos ahir, witnessed the departure of Diana and Salva on Thursday, December 18, as they embarked on new lives away from Barcelona.

The character Diana, played by Mercè Arànega, has been defined by deception, including faking her own death and a terminal illness to manipulate Iván and Nina into bonding. After believing her plan succeeded, Diana left for Malaysia, closing one of the most surreal storylines in the Catalan fiction.
However, just as Diana departed, Nina revealed to Iván that their close relationship was a complete fabrication intended only to deceive Diana. This twist leaves Iván shocked and raises questions about the future of their dynamic, especially as Iván struggles with Sílvia's (Montse Germán) cancer diagnosis.
The other significant farewell is that of Salva (Ernest Villegas), who has accepted a temporary position in a law firm in Madrid. His departure follows the public exposure of his abuse of power against his student Aina (Tai Fati). His girlfriend, Marta (Sílvia Bel), has definitively ended their relationship, even throwing away a planned Christmas gift, and has offered to testify for Aina.

The abuse of power is also violence, and Salva's reaction, accepting the consequences, marks a necessary ending point for the storyline.

These two emotional and dramatic exits conclude the first quarter of the series before the temporary break for the Christmas holidays. Com si fos ahir is scheduled to return to TV3 programming starting in January.
