The Carnival celebration is extended in the Fort Pienc neighborhood, located in Barcelona's Eixample district, as its traditional costume parade will be held one week later than most of the city's processions. The chosen date is Saturday, February 21, 2026.

The gathering of troupes and participants is scheduled for 5 PM (17:00 h) at the Plaça del Fort Pienc, which serves as both the starting and ending point of the route. This parade is highly anticipated by local residents.

The Carnival parade route will include several key streets in the neighborhood. Starting from the Plaça del Fort Pienc, the procession will continue along Sicília street, Ausiàs Marc, Roger de Flor, Casp, Marina, and Ribes, before returning to the starting location.

It should be noted that, in addition to the parades, Carnival in Barcelona culminates with the symbolic act of the burial of the sardine (enterrament de la sardina), which takes place in various districts to conclude the festivities.
