The 3Cat media corporation has unveiled a massive content plan for 2026 in Barcelona, featuring eleven series and twenty-seven films, marking a new record for Catalan-language fiction production.

Director Sigfrid Gras confirmed that fiction is the main driver for the 3Cat platform, reaching 100 million views in 2025. Key highlights include Gènesi, a series about chef Ferran Adrià starring Miquel Fernández, and Cronos, a film depicting the police response to the August 17, 2017 terrorist attacks.

"Fiction is a successful genre both on TV3 and the 3Cat platform. It is a motor to attract new audiences."
