Actress Anna Moliner visited Vilafranca del Penedès this March to participate in a Cineclub Vilafranca session dedicated to the film Balandrau, vent salvatge, which recreates the Pyrenees tragedy.

The Badalona-born performer plays Elena Fernández, one of the nine people who died on the Balandrau peak on December 30, 2000. The film has become a box office success in the Penedès region, recounting events that shocked Catalan society over two decades ago.

"Playing Elena in Balandrau has been an honor and a unique gift as an actress."
