The Barcelona City Council has approved the renovation of the final section of Carrer de la Jota, in the Nou Barris district, with an investment of 626,000 euros and an estimated duration of five months.

The works, expected to begin during the third quarter of this year, will focus on improving mobility, accessibility, lighting, and renewing services in the Vilapicina i la Torre Llobeta neighborhood.
This intervention will cover the section between Carrer Pardo and Avinguda Meridiana. The part to be renovated is the closest to the ongoing Meridiana works, and both are expected to conclude by the end of the year.
According to a statement from the city council, the main objective is to adapt the road to the current needs of residents and improve the quality of life in the area by modernizing existing infrastructure.
