By region, Baix Llobregat and Barcelonès Nord saw the most significant growth. The Nitbus night service grew by 8.4%, with the N2 and N14 lines leading demand. Furthermore, the AMB Metrobús and AMB Bus Exprés networks now account for more than a third of the total daytime demand.
Following recent issues with the Rodalies train network, the AMB has reinforced bus services in municipalities such as Castelldefels, Gavà, and Viladecans. Nineteen additional vehicles were added to the South Baix Llobregat network to guarantee mobility where no railway or metro alternatives are available.
