The Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan Police) received an alert around 5 AM regarding an alarm at an Apple store, specifically the K-tuin shop, located on Muntaner Street in the Sant Gervasi district of Barcelona.
According to initial police reports, the perpetrators accessed the premises using the 'alunizaje' technique, which involves ramming a vehicle into the security shutter. The Jeep used in the incident completely deformed the shutter, allowing the individuals to enter.
Authorities have launched an investigation to clarify the events and identify those responsible. Currently, no arrests have been made, and the exact volume of stolen technological equipment remains unknown.
It is believed that the criminals escaped in a second vehicle, leaving the first one, the Jeep used for the break-in, embedded in the business's entrance.
This is not the first incident of its kind in the district. Approximately two months ago, another establishment selling luxury handbags was targeted in a similar manner, with thieves using a vehicle to break into the premises and steal several items.
