The Castellers de Barcelona have initiated a crowdfunding campaign to raise 13,000 euros for the installation of a motorized safety net at their rehearsal venue, aiming to enhance safety during the practice of higher-level human towers.

This initiative would allow the group to minimize risks for all participants, including children, and build confidence during rehearsals. The motorized net, capable of adjusting its height, would facilitate the practice of nine-story towers and their supporting structures with maximum protection guarantees.
In addition to safety, the new infrastructure would optimize the use of the venue, as it could be adapted for various types of rehearsals and activities. The Castellers de Barcelona often lend their space to other entities and human tower groups, thereby extending the positive impact of the improvement.

"The Castellers de Barcelona want to be at the city's level."

The campaign, active until April 30, offers various rewards for contributions ranging from 15 € to 1,000 €. Exclusive group gifts include keychains made from the old net's rope, t-shirts, bags, and posters. For the most generous donors, a human tower and teambuilding workshop is planned, designed for companies and organizations.
Although the initial goal is 13,000 €, the group aims to reach 20,000 € to make an optimal investment in the new net. Currently, they have already achieved almost half of the necessary amount.
