Lines L9 and L10 North of Barcelona's metro will experience service cuts starting this Thursday until September 6th due to infrastructure improvement works.

The operation of Barcelona's L9 and L10 North metro lines will be affected by infrastructure works from this Thursday until September 6th. Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) has announced that the work will be carried out in two phases to minimize disruption.
The first phase, running until August 30th, will see the closure of the La Sagrera and Onze de Setembre stations, as well as Bon Pastor. Subsequently, between August 31st and September 6th, the second phase will involve a closure of the section between La Sagrera and Bon Pastor.
To ensure mobility during these closures, TMB will provide a special bus service. This bus will replace the affected section, operating with the metro's usual hours, including uninterrupted service on Saturday nights into Sundays. Ticket validation will not be required for this alternative transport.
Additionally, passengers can use metro lines L1 and L2, accessing from the Clot and La Sagrera stations. The H8 bus line also covers the affected stretch between La Sagrera and Bon Pastor.
These works are part of the adaptation of a junction where the tunnels of lines L9 and L10 converge with the future extension of L4. The project, executed by the Department of Territory, Housing, and Ecological Transition of the Generalitat de Catalunya, involves an investment of 22.6 million euros and will enable the connection of the northern branches with the central section of the lines.
