The Barcelona Foods group, known for its Paellería chain, has launched a new culinary concept called Dalirium. This new establishment, located at number 30 Aribau street, in Barcelona's Eixample, aims to merge Mediterranean gastronomy, particularly rice dishes, with an immersive experience inspired by Salvador Dalí's imagery. The offering combines traditional dishes reinterpreted with touches of originality and extravagance, accompanied by a cocktail selection designed for after-dinner drinks and the night.
According to Diana Londoño, the group's operations director, Dalirium represents a natural evolution for the company. The goal is to maintain the existing successful gastronomic foundation while enriching it with a more developed brand, a refined aesthetic, and an overall experience that appeals to both sight and taste. The idea is for the after-dinner period to extend in a social and engaging atmosphere, with good music and drinks.
The venue is divided into two distinct ambiances. Inside, the focus is on rice dishes, while the entrance area is dedicated to cocktails. This beverage offering is not merely an accompaniment but a standalone menu designed to extend the experience beyond the meal.
Dalirium's menu features reinterpretations of traditional dishes, such as rice with duck confit, entrecote, or pork ribs, reflecting Dalí's spirit of seeking uniqueness. The new establishment aims to be not just a place to eat, but also a meeting point to start or end the night.
