The weather in Barcelona for Sunday, January 11, will see a decrease in wind and an increase in high clouds, anticipating the arrival of a warmer air mass carrying Saharan dust starting Monday.

Until mid-morning on Sunday, strong winds will still be felt, specifically the mistral in the southern regions of Tarragona and the tramontana north of Cap de Creus. In Barcelona, the northwest wind component will calm down, although the coldest feeling will be concentrated in the peripheral neighborhoods, with maximum temperatures between 12 and 14 ºC.
The sky will appear whiter and hazy due to the passage of high, thin clouds, which will leave the sun dimmed. No rain is expected in the city, although there is a slight possibility of snow precipitation in the Montseny massif during the early morning hours.

Winter cold is numbered in Barcelona and its surroundings. The winter feeling will clearly diminish starting Monday.

Starting Monday, the approach of Atlantic fronts will drive a warmer air mass originating from the south. This change will make the environment more comfortable and typical of early spring, although it will drag some suspended dust, leaving the sky more confused and hazy throughout the coming week.
