The star of Casa en flames and Sky Rojo admitted to having a very selective memory due to dyslexia and ADHD. While he struggles to remember personal milestones, he finds it easy to memorize professional scripts through a peculiar method: locking himself on the bathroom floor for hours with a coffee maker and a heater.

Before finding success on screen, Auquer held various jobs, including working on a sheep farm, as a pizza maker, electrician, and dishwasher in London. He credited his mother for encouraging him to pursue acting after a rebellious youth characterized by risk-taking behavior.
