A joint operation by the Guàrdia Urbana and Mossos d'Esquadra has resulted in the arrest of five individuals and three searches in Barcelona, dismantling a drug dealing point.

The operation, carried out on Wednesday in the Sant Martí district, led to the arrest of five people involved in a public health offense related to drug trafficking. The police action included three entries and searches of properties linked to this illicit activity.
The investigation, which began several months ago, identified an active drug sales point that was causing serious problems of coexistence, insecurity, and public health in the area. The property where the sales were taking place has since been boarded up by authorities.
During the operation, officers confiscated a significant amount of narcotics, including 150 grams of cocaine and 21 doses of heroin. Additionally, 21,100 euros in cash, three firearms with their corresponding ammunition, precision scales, and other drug distribution paraphernalia were seized.
