The Hotel Mett, formerly the Gran Hotel La Florida, has inaugurated two new gastronomic spaces, 1925 Vermutería and Albarada, promising a Mediterranean culinary experience with the most impressive views of Barcelona from Tibidabo.

Located 500 meters high, these establishments offer unparalleled panoramic views of the city. The Hotel Mett, which has taken over from the well-known Gran Hotel La Florida, is consolidating itself as a reference point for enjoying gastronomy and the surroundings.
1925 Vermutería, which evokes the year the building was constructed, presents a sophisticated and cosmopolitan atmosphere, closer to a cocktail bar than a traditional bar. Its menu focuses on vermouth culture, with proposals such as gildas, bravas, croquettes, and an innovative version of salmon cubes marinated with lime and orange. Prices, considering the location and service, remain accessible, with vermouth glasses starting from 6 euros and a wide selection of Spanish wines served by the glass.

"The menu is 100% vermouth-based: gildas, bravas, croquettes, potato omelette, escalivada... And salmon cubes marinated with lime and orange, garnished with trout roe bathed in ajoblanco, which are pure indulgence."

Meanwhile, Albarada, adjacent to the vermutería, stands out for its warm, Mediterranean-inspired decor, featuring an olive tree in the center of the room and large windows that allow natural light and views to be enjoyed. The cuisine, under the direction of chef Rubén Briones, focuses on local gastronomy with quality regional ingredients. Highlights include the root salad with Catalan beetroots, clams in spicy green sauce, wild sea bass with basil and garlic sofrito, and slow-cooked lamb shoulder.
Both proposals share outdoor space but differ in their interior design, offering options for different times of the day, from an aperitif to a full dinner. Reservations are recommended in advance, especially for the vermutería, which has limited capacity.
