According to the latest Population and Housing Census from Idescat, the district has added 5,281 residents since 2021. This 4.19% increase is primarily due to the arrival of international citizens, a group that has grown by 7,394 people in just four years.
Currently, 30,310 foreign nationals live in Gràcia. Nearly half of them are European (48.93%), followed by those from South America (24.89%). By country, Italy leads with 5,211 residents, followed by France, Colombia, and Argentina.
Compared to Barcelona as a whole, the percentage of foreign residents in Gràcia is 1.5 points below the city average of 25.55%. This demographic is notably young, with an average age of 34 years.
