The family company experienced an 18% increase in turnover compared to the previous year, accumulating growth exceeding 40% in just two years. This success is also reflected in its customer base, which grew by 17% to reach 1.4 million people who shopped in its stores.
“"During 2025, more than 1.4 million people shopped at Ametller Origen stores, confirming consumer confidence in a model based on quality and proximity."
The growth is mainly due to organic expansion and the strategy of expanding and renovating the 147 points of sale existing between Catalonia and Andorra. The market share in fruit and vegetables exceeded 12%, a significant increase compared to the 8% recorded in the previous year, according to Nielsen data.
The agricultural division and the central workshop also boosted results. The company invested 31 million euros in reforms and expansions, including the construction of a new logistics hub in the Zona Franca de Barcelona. Furthermore, the innovation team tested more than 300 varieties at the R&D farm in Cabrera de Mar.
