Thousands of Catalan teachers held a massive strike this February 11th in Barcelona to demand better working conditions, salary increases, and more resources for classroom inclusion.

Protests began early in the morning with road blocks on major Barcelona highways. Unions reported an 85% turnout, while the Government estimated participation at 37%.

"I don't want a salary increase if our working conditions and resources to help children don't improve."
