Television host Jesús Calleja has successfully undergone surgery in Barcelona this February following a severe cycling accident while filming his show in Canada.

The accident occurred during the production of Universo Calleja. The crash resulted in several broken fingers, marking the first time in 20 years that the adventurer has been forced to leave a project unfinished due to physical injury.

"I have two ruptures, a possible third, and one of them must be operated on no matter what. I cannot stay."
