The Junts Municipal Group in Barcelona called an extraordinary plenary session on January 23 to censure the management of the Rodalies railway crisis by the governments of Salvador Illa and Pedro Sánchez.

The Junts Municipal Group in the Barcelona City Council has triggered the mechanism to call an extraordinary plenary session following the severe crisis that paralyzed the Rodalies railway service across Catalonia during the last days of January.
The main objective of the party is twofold: first, to censure the management of the railway chaos carried out by the Catalan Government, led by Salvador Illa, and second, to directly point out the responsibility of the Spanish Government of Pedro Sánchez for the lack of investment and maintenance in the network.

To assume the defense of the interests of the city and its people, as well as to be demanding before other administrations to guarantee a dignified service.

In addition to censuring the regional and central governments, Junts urges the Mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Collboni, to take a firm and active stance in defending affected users and demanding immediate solutions for the public transport service.
