Mounir Nasraoui, father of FC Barcelona star Lamine Yamal, publicly denounced the lack of water in the fountains of Pedralbes parks in Barcelona via a social media video on February 9, 2026.

The father of the young Barça star, known for his outspoken style on social media under the nickname 'Hustle hard', has once again stirred controversy with a public demand aimed at the Barcelona City Council. This time, Nasraoui focused his criticism on the condition of the parks in the Pedralbes neighborhood, where he resides.

"My apartment cost me a fortune, and there is no water here for the dogs, it is a disgrace."

In the video, recorded in a park, Mounir Nasraoui handles a visibly dry fountain and repeats: "Look, gentlemen, there is no water. There is no water." He also drew a sharp comparison with his neighborhood of origin, stating: "I am from Rocafonda, in Mataró, and there is plenty of water there."
Nasraoui's complaint, which he claims has persisted for two weeks, emphasizes animal welfare: "These poor animals cannot drink water. Please, this is a disgrace." During the live stream, two elderly women walking in the area intervened to support the complaint, linking the dryness to the closure of sprinklers.
One of the neighbors also took the opportunity to complain about the state of the dog park (pipicán), noting that the fences are too wide to contain small dogs. Nasraoui concluded his intervention by referencing the high cost of housing, reinforcing his outrage over the apparent lack of basic services in the area.
