This cultural initiative, set to open on Saturday, April 11, at 6:30 PM at L'Harmonia (Plaça Josep Bordonau, 6), highlights the tradition of Els Pastorets as a fundamental part of the collective imagination and the festive Christmas cycle in L'Hospitalet.
Els pastorets are much more than a play. They are a living expression of popular culture, a collective flame that crosses generations and remains lit thanks to the commitment of all those people who, year after year, decide to make it shine again.
The exhibition, organized by the Centre Catòlic de L'Hospitalet de Llobregat and the Museu de L'Hospitalet – L'Harmonia, will be open from April 11 to May 6 with free admission. The program of activities includes a tribute to Miquel Xartó Emeterio (1917-2006), baker, actor, and theater director, with the unveiling of a commemorative plaque at Plaça de la Constitució, 5 at 6 PM.
Subsequently, at 7 PM, there will be a puppet show, and at 8 PM, the Folcat diabòlic will offer a giants' dance and a drum parade, completing a festive and cultural day.
