The Sónar festival has unveiled a radical transformation for its 33rd edition, scheduled for June 18-20, 2026, in Barcelona and L'Hospitalet.

Under new management, the festival will merge its traditional Sónar by Day and Sónar by Night into a single continuous format. All main musical performances will now take place at the Fira Gran Via venue. The new visual identity, designed by Boldtron, represents the event as a mutating living organism.
The 2026 lineup features heavyweights such as The Prodigy, Skepta, Kelis, and techno stars Charlotte de Witte and Amelie Lens. The festival also sees the return of Sónar Kids and the debut of Sónar District at Parc del Fòrum, hosting satellite parties and local showcases.
The Sónar+D creative technology congress will move to Llotja de Mar on June 18 and 19. For the first time, attendees will be able to purchase standalone tickets for the professional program, which remains a global benchmark for digital culture and electronic arts.
