Barcelona's 22@ technology district is rapidly consolidating as a major student campus, already hosting about twenty universities and business schools. The expansion of SBS, which arrived in Barcelona four years ago, involves incorporating the third floor of its brick building located on Pamplona street, near the Razzmatazz venue.
“"Here we offer the chance to experience Swiss quality and demanding standards, combined with the appeal and prices of studying in Barcelona."
The new floor will house offices, a large rest and leisure room for students, a spacious terrace, and, crucially, the dedicated space for incubating entrepreneurial projects by its graduates. The school currently hosts around one hundred students and boasts a 'startup' aesthetic, featuring versatile classrooms and an open hall that serves as an agora.
Campus Director Adrià Alsina emphasizes that the primary goal of the expansion is not quantitative but focused on enhancing the student experience. The school offers a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with nine specializations and three master's degrees, all official Swiss qualifications.
The SBS student body is global, including young Europeans, Asians, and Americans. Alsina noted that they are observing a new phenomenon of entire families from the United States relocating to Europe due to the political situation involving Trump.
