In January, organizers warned that the 50th anniversary of the event was at risk after the Barcelona City Council increased the rental fee by 250%. The association, run by volunteers, argued that they were being unfairly charged commercial rates despite being a non-profit student organization.

The 2026 lineup features acts such as Boikot, Auxili, La Ludwig Band, and Mama Dousha. Despite the financial pressure, the organizers intend to hold at least two more editions at the same seaside location.
