The Primavera Sound Barcelona festival, which was recently honored with the Gold Medal of Merit in Fine Arts 2025, will officially kick off the season of major festivals in the country. The event will take place at the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona from June 3 to 7, 2026.
This edition's lineup includes over 150 artists, establishing Barcelona as the global epicenter of music for a week. Among the most anticipated headliners are The Cure, led by Robert Smith, returning after performing the longest concert in the festival's history.
The programming also stands out due to the presence of major international names such as Doja Cat, Gorillaz (presenting a new album), Massive Attack, My Bloody Valentine, Skrillex, Peggy Gou, Big Thief, Lola Young, and local artist Bad Gyal, creating a sonic mosaic spanning five decades of pop culture.
All this confirms that Primavera Sound 2026 will be a key date on the international music calendar and an intense week of music for all audiences.
The festival's global DNA is maintained with emerging artists from places like Ghana (Amaarae), Puerto Rico (Buscabulla), Palestine (Sama’ Abdulhadi), and Australia (Ninajirachi). Furthermore, local presence is reinforced with acts like Renaldo & Clara, Guitarricadelafuente, Ouineta, Ven’nus, and Pavvla, complemented by the parallel programming of Primavera Ciutat and free concerts at the CCCB.
