The Badalona Municipal Library Network actively participates throughout February in the International Magic Festival – Memorial Li-Chang, offering a cycle of free shows and workshops for the public.

The festival, considered one of the most prominent magic demonstrations nationally and internationally, was created to honor the memory of the illusionist from Badalona, Joan Forns i Jordana (1916-1998), better known by his stage name Li-Chang.
The program includes various magic shows taking place in different libraries. Participating magicians include Àlvaro Cortés (at the Biblioteca Sant Roc on February 3), David el Mag (at the Biblioteca Llefià – Xavier Soto on February 4), and the magician Alex Ferrer (at the Biblioteca Can Casacuberta-CC el Carme on February 5).
In addition to the shows, magic workshops have been organized for children aged 7 to 10, aiming to teach basic tricks. These workshops will be held at the Biblioteca Canyadó i Casagemes – Joan Argenté, the Biblioteca Can Casacuberta-CC el Carme, and the Biblioteca Llefià – Xavier Soto during the weeks of February 17 to 27.
Registration for the shows began on January 26 and for the workshops on February 2, both at 4 p.m. Registration must be formalized in person or by contacting the corresponding library directly.
