Tomorrow, Saturday, Vallbona d’Anoia will host the event 'A Walk Through Memory' in the Church Square, reviving the Roseres tradition with a parade of 73 dresses.

Vallbona d’Anoia is preparing to relive one of its most emblematic cultural legacies. Tomorrow, Saturday, June 6, the Church Square will be the setting for the event 'A Walk Through Memory. Dresses that see the light again', an initiative that highlights the history of the Roseres and the town's Roser Festivals.
The event will allow dozens of Rosera dresses to be seen again in a parade, after 27 years. A total of 24 participants will showcase 73 garments dating from between 1998 and the present day. These dresses have been carefully preserved by the Roseres themselves and their families over nearly three decades.
Beyond the costume exhibition, the event is conceived as a celebration of collective memory and local identity. Each dress represents a part of the town's history and symbolizes the commitment of generations of women from Vallbona d’Anoia to a tradition that remains alive.
The recovery of this festive heritage has been made possible thanks to the involvement of numerous individuals from the municipality, especially the Roseres and their families, as well as collaborators in historical and documentary research. The Town Council of Vallbona d’Anoia has also supported the initiative.
