The victim was among nine people hospitalized due to the severe weather conditions affecting the Barcelonès region. The Department of Health confirmed her passing following the tragic accident in the city.

Another critical victim is a 22-year-old Civil Protection volunteer in Sant Boi de Llobregat. He is currently being treated at Bellvitge Hospital after a tree fell on him during the storm.

A 23-year-old colleague of the volunteer is also hospitalized in serious condition but is reported to be out of danger. Authorities continue to monitor the status of the other injured citizens.
