The incident took place around eight in the evening on Wednesday, December 18, as confirmed by police sources to the ACN agency. The assault occurred inside a carriage when a man was stabbed.
Following the attack, the two alleged assailants, described as young people, fled running from La Sagrera station, one of the main transport hubs in the Catalan capital.
The Catalan police have opened an investigation to clarify the facts and locate the two young people who fled after the assault.
The victim received immediate attention from the Sistema d’Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) at the scene. The severity of the injuries is currently unknown, but the investigation by the Mossos d'Esquadra remains active.
