The 31st Les Roquetes Christmas Fair successfully concluded on the weekend of December 14 and 15, promoting crafts and zero-kilometre products, and injecting over 30,000 euros into local businesses.

This historic Christmas exhibition achieved a record of 75 exhibitors and registered massive public attendance. The economic boost was partly attributed to the ‘Puja al tren de la compra local’ (Get on the local shopping train) campaign, which stimulated sales in the municipality of les Roquetes.
The event offered visitors a wide range of products, including natural cosmetics, jewelry, illustration, and locally produced gastronomy. A key novelty was the incorporation of workshops and demonstrations of traditional crafts, such as palm weaving (llata) and ceramics, led by members of Artpauma and Raval de l’Art.

"We are fortunate to have associations that start the engine and fill our squares and streets with dynamism. Everyone gets involved with the fair, and we are grateful for that."

Among the main attractions, the Polar Express toured the streets of les Roquetes, bringing visitors to the fairgrounds, which included the Municipal Market and the Plaça dels Països Catalans. Children's activities included the arrival of the Royal Pages and the show La perla del Nadal (The Pearl of Christmas).
Solidarity was also a central theme, coinciding with La Marató de TV3, dedicated this year to the fight against cancer. Through a charity walk, bike ride, and a musical vermouth, a total of 976 euros were raised for the cause.
