The Mossos d'Esquadra arrested a 62-year-old woman in Sant Adrià de Besòs on December 5, accused of public health crimes for selling heroin at her building's entrance.

Officers from the Sant Adrià de Besòs Investigation Unit, supported by the Criminal Investigation Division (DIC), seized 6,300 euros in cash from the suspect at the time of the intervention.
The investigation began months earlier following several police actions where small quantities of narcotics had been seized in the Barcelonès Nord area.
Detectives established a pattern: several consumers frequently traveled to an apartment building on Llevant street, leaving shortly after with drug doses, confirming investigators' suspicions.

The seller would come down with the exact dose of heroin, and the exchange was done quickly without her moving away from her home.

This method was designed to minimize risk: the woman only carried the strictly necessary amount for each transaction, thus reducing the chance of being caught with a large quantity of drugs during a police operation.
